My stomach still hurts from all the laughs that ha My stomach still hurts from all the laughs that happened during this project (and we can’t always say that!!). The Ravenna Kitchen Remodel is surely one for the books. When thinking back, I’m still SO happy with how everything turned out. I miss our amazing clients who brought us joy and tears (from laughing) throughout this whole project.

This time last year I was working on a speech for This time last year I was working on a speech for my daughter’s middle school career day. I used to really dread public speaking. I’m talking full on anxiety, feeling nauseous, shaking… It was bad!

(Everything went fine - no kids made fun of me!!)

But that wasn’t the last time I’ve chosen to speak in front of an audience.

Through my continued experience and being fortunate enough to speak about my passion for design, I’ve become much more comfortable with being a speaker.

Don’t get me wrong though, speaking in front of a large audience still gets me a little nervous! But I’ve realized that those speaking opportunities were less about me… and more about my audience. It was about their opportunity to be there and to learn from an industry expert. To get just the tiniest bit of insight into how we work at KP Spaces so they might apply it to their design businesses, too. After all, what good is my experience & knowledge if I can’t share it with others who could benefit?

I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to help other designers completely skip the trial and error struggles of DIYing their design businesses, and instead get right to being productive & successful!

To share my love and passion for design, and to be an inspiration to other designers is something that inspires me each and every day. ☀️
